Introduction:

Annapurna region trekking is one of the most popular trekking destination among the tourists. Trekking in this region offers a beautiful view of mountain ranges like, Annapurna range, Mt. Macchapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri. This trek also offers a beautiful view of landscapes.

With the natural diversity, this region has a lots more to offer. During the trek, you will be able to see different animals, birds, flora and faunas like musk deer, snow leopard, pheasant, pine trees, etc.

Day via day Itinerary:

Day 01:
Arrival day in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be hearty welcomed by our staffs.  After completion of airport duties (visas, documents, etc.), you will proceed towards the arrival gate and look for our representatives.  After that, you will be escorted to Shankar Hotel.

After checking in, you can take rest for few hours and go out for sightseeing with our guide or representatives.  We will organize a typical Nepali welcome dinner at the evening along with Nepali traditional dance and music.

Day 02:
Kathmandu – Trek preparation.  

After finishing breakfast, we start our day with sightseeing some local historical and cultural attractions near Kathmandu including durbar square and temples like Pashupatinath, Baudha, and Swyambhu (monkey temple).  At afternoon, we will meet our tour guide, team leader, and other members of our trip and discuss about the trek where you can ask any questions regarding this trek.

Day 03:
Kathmandu to Pokhara:

Early morning we will drive to Pokhara.  During 6 hours of drive, we will see green hills, mountains in the distance and rivers.  After six hours, we will reach Pokhara.  Pokhara Valley offers beautiful view of mountains and lakes.  We can enjoy our leisure time roaming around the valley.  Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 04:
Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540 m):

Today, we will drive up to Nayapul and then start our trek.  Trail follows through the forests and green lands.  Following the trail, we reach Modi Khola and cross is through suspension bridge over it.  After crossing this bridge, we now reach Tikhedhunga.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 05:
Tikhedhunga to Ghorapani (2870 m):

It will take about 5 hours today to reach Ghorepani from Tikhedhunga.  Trail pass through forest and green fields.  We can enjoy the beautiful view of the nature while trekking.  After 5 hours of walking, we now reach Ghorepani, a small village with different shops selling local products and handicrafts.  The high part of this village offers a great view of the surrounding.  Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 06:
Ghorapani to Tadapani (2710 m):

We start our trek early in the morning to get a view of sunrise from Poon Hill.  This is one of the most popular trekking destination in the Annapurna Region.  This view point offers beautiful view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri as well as Pokhara and Mustang.  After enjoying the view, we return back to Ghorepani and eat our breakfast.  After breakfast, we continue to trek to reach Tadapani.  Trail leads us through rhododendron forest and waterfalls.  After walking for few hours, we reach Tadapani.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 07:
Tadapani to Chhomrong (2210 m):

Today, we descend from Tadapani through rhododendron forest.  Trail then slowly opens up to give a good view of the surrounding.  The trail then ascend passing through waterfalls and leading up to suspension bridge.  Few hours of walk uphill and downhill will take us to Chhomrong.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 08:
Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310 m):

Today, we will trek through small stone steps which leads up to Chhomrong Khola.  We will cross this river through suspension bridge.  Trail is uphill to reach Sinuwa.  Trail then pass through forest.  From there, it is easy downhill walk to reach Bamboo.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 09:
Bamboo to Deurali (3230 m):

Today’s trail pass through forest of bamboo.  Trail is damp and wet.  Only after reaching Himalaya Hotel, the trail slightly opens up and we can get good view of river and mountain range.  Trail is much steep and dry before reaching Hinku Cave.  From there, we will climb uphill to reach Deurali.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 10:
Deurali to Macchapuchre Base Camp (3700 m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m):

Today, we will trek through river bank and follow the trail to the mountain side.  Trail from Bagar to Macchapuchre Base Camp is slight strenuous.  We can get excellent view of Macchapuchre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I and II.  From MBC we will see less vegetation on the way up to ABC.  While trekking, we will get good view of Annapurna.  Upon reaching ABC, we will get 360-degree view of mountains surrounding.  Overnight stay at lodge

Day 11:
Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m) to Bamboo:

We trek downhill to reach Bamboo today.  It will be easy trek as it is mostly downhill trek.  Enjoying the view in the surrounding, we reach to Bamboo in few hours of walk.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 12:
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760 m):

We will trek uphill to reach Kuldighar and then trek downhill to reach Chhomrong Khola.  We will walk on a stone steps to Chhomrong.  Trail then leads us up to Jhinu Danda.  We can enjoy natural hot water spring in Jhinu today to relax our tired muscles.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 13:
Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara:

From Jhinu Danda, we will descend down through stone steps passing through many villages and green lands.  Continuing to follow the trail, you will reach Birethati and from Birethati, you will reach to Nayapul.  From there, we will catch a vehicle to reach to Pokhara.  Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 14:
Pokhara to Kathmandu:

After finishing breakfast, we catch a bus to reach Kathmandu which is about 200 km drive.  We can enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back.  It will take about 4 to 5 hours to reach Kathmandu.  Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and rest.  After rest and lunch you can enjoy your free time shopping handicrafts and other local products for your friends and relatives back to your home.  Or you can even do some sightseeing in your leisure time.  In the evening, we will have dinner together and share our experience about the trekking..

Day 15:
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760 m):

We will trek uphill to reach Kuldighar and then trek downhill to reach Chhomrong Khola.  We will walk on a stone steps to Chhomrong.  Trail then leads us up to Jhinu Danda.  We can enjoy natural hot water spring in Jhinu today to relax our tired muscles.  Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 11:
Final day:

Final departure:  Today will be your last day here in Nepal.  You can still do some last moment shopping or local sightseeing if there is any leisure time left.  And approximately 3 hours before scheduled flight, our representative will escort you to the airport.
